Club Hire
Port Noarlunga Bowling Club’s clubrooms, kitchen bar and greens are available for hire by Club members, private, individual and groups as well as general community organisations.
The Board of Management will exercise absolute and final discretion for hire in relation to the nature, purpose and extent of proposed functions.
A written hire agreement between the hirer and Board is required which will include payments, compliance with statutory laws, W.H.S regulations, hygiene, and liquor licensing provisions and accountability for damage to Club property.
Hire Rates
The Clubhouse and facilities are available for hire on an individually negotiated basis.
Factors which determine hire costs include: type of function or event, number of persons, extent of facilities required for use (such as Clubhouse, kitchen, bar) and other requests such as use of greens.
The bar, if required, must be staffed by PNBC members who are qualified and the costs of cleaning will be built in to the overall per person quote.

South Coast Folk Club
The South Coast Folk Group holds fortnightly sessions on Thursday evenings throughout the year.
In addition, the South Coast Folk Club conducts an annual weekend “Folkathon” and regular concerts featuring well known artists. Entry fees vary.
These events are publicised through Port Noarlunga Bowling Club, local media an on the monthly calendar.
Schools Programs
Port Noarlunga Bowling Club has developed close relationships with Cardijn College and Seaford Secondary College to provide a range of curriculum based on recreational programs.These include:
- (i) Year 12 Physical Education S.A.C.E. program which contributes towards the students’ final grade (10-14 hours)
- (ii) Year 12 Sport & Recreation S.A.C.E program which contributes towards the students’ final grade (10-14 hours)
- (iii) Year 9-11 Physical Education classes which focus on the basic skills of lawn bowling.
- (iv) Recreationally focused programs for multi-aged groups.
Year 12 students are encouraged and supported to represent their schools at the South Australian annual High School Challenge. Students can enter as a Triples team or Singles players.
All programs are conducted by Port Noarlunga Bowling Club Bowls Australia Accredited Coaches supported by Club bowlers.
Other Community Events
Other Community Programs include Sessions for Seniors, Disabled Groups, Corporate Functions combining a Roll-Up with training and promotional activities.
